Nothing quite says nostalgia like a Little Golden Book. I found this little compendium of Golden Book Christmas stories the other week and it has been our favourite storytime book ever since. Lamb enjoys 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' and giggles when we get toward the end and I start muddling things up. I don’t do it on purpose. (I’m so dyslexic I get mixed up with easy baby books). Lamb thinks it’s hilarious so at least it has entertainment value. Fox is very much into the Spot books at the moment (he'll bring me the same Spot book every single night and it never, ever gets old). If I can convince him to read a different story he'll pick out 'Baby's Christmas'. Or more specifically, page 92, the page with the picture of the toy train on it. This book also has an authentic Christmas story in it which is part of the reason why I bought it. Lamb has been asking a lot of questions about Christmas lately and I wanted to be able to explain it to her in a very general, five-year-old sort of way.
