We've been spending the afternoons after school in the back yard. Lamb is 'helping' Fox learn to ride his bike (her old, pink Dora bike). She hurls well-meaning directions at him. "Feo. When I ring my bell like this (rings her bell) It means you have to stop. OK Feo?". But it is obvious (to me, not her) that he is not paying a lick of attention to anything she is saying. When he makes progress Lamb comes bounding up to me, "Did you see that, mummy? He did it! I so proud of him!". "I did see it, sweetheart. You are doing such a good job teaching him, aren't you?" I reply. She grins from ear to ear.
