FIVE

A few things I never want to forget about him at this age:

- He refers to colours as either 'outside' colours or 'inside' colours (i.e. 'outside blue' is light blue and 'inside blue' is dark blue.
- His favourite shows are Pink Panther (he loves Pink Panther) and Play School.
- He drives me crazy every morning by refusing to wear anything but a handful of things, all of which he has grown out of.
- Whenever I say 'I love you', he replies 'Well, I love you more than that'.
- He thinks a hundred and ten is the biggest number.
- He repeats 'I'm bored, I'm bored, I'm bored' whenever he is feeling shy or tired or excited, not just when he is bored.
- He cries 'Get it away, get it away' whenever he hurts himself.
- He still thinks a baby shower is an actual shower, no matter how many times I try to explain it to him.
